M-Raststätte Betriebs GmbH was founded in November 2006 based on an idea by Mr. Fritz Mayer senior. The original idea was to build a rest stop where truck drivers could meet all their needs: showering, resting, shopping, eating, washing and refueling 24/7.

The associated SPAR supermarket has created a local supplier in Zeltweg that has become indispensable today. A range of products at supermarket prices – around the clock.

In recent years, the catering facilities have been expanded, the car wash and truck parking spaces have been enlarged and the store will be extended in 2022. One of the highlights is the newly built MT Hotel, which is located in the immediate vicinity.

The M-Raststätte has been owned by the Mayer family since it was founded and is run by Maria Mayer.
